Interest Check!
Hello, everyone! This is Yue (![[plurk.com profile]](https://plurk.com/favicon.ico)
savingdaisydiva) and this is a more formal interest check/introduction to Castle Whimsical, a murdergame for younger characters. It will involve memory loss in a different sort of way. At the start of the game your character will have all their memories but each week instead of gaining a memory, they will lose a memory from their canon. There will only be a handful of memories lost (one for each week of the game, minus the final week) but I'm up to setting up situations for those who want to lean more heavily into it. Due to the fact that this is aimed for younger characters there will be an age cap of sixteen for human characters.
These aren't reserves. I'm just seeing how much interest is out there. The TDM can be found here.

What's the stance on characters who are physically young but mentally older? I saw the mention of sixteen for human characters, but what about a child vampire, for example?

Take Nursery Rhyme and Hans Christian Andersen from the Fate series. Both are physically young but are much older than that. Without going into much detail, I would accept Nursery Rhyme and not accept Andersen. Nursery Rhyme acts like a child, even if she isn't, and more importantly considers herself a child still. While Andersen doesn't consider himself a child at all, drinking and behaving like he was still an old man. The other characters around him (at least in Fate/Grand Order) don't treat him as a child, either, while they do so with Nursery Rhyme.
It's a complicated issue and I think in the end, it's one that would have to be settled on a case by case basis.
