Welcome to Round 2 of Castle Whimsical! We're excited to experience this wild ride with all of you and explore all of your characters' little fears. Before then, we'd like to invite you to introduce yourselves to one another!

Please feel free to introduce yourself to your fellow players on this post! Greet one another, share your excitement, gush over character choices, exchange gifs - while we're getting everything ready for school to open its doors on Monday, take this opportunity to mingle with your fellow players! The pre-mingle mingle, if you will.

In your comment, you may want to include some basic information like your name, contact information, and pronouns if you'd like to disclose them. Add whatever else you'd like: a little bit about yourself, your peak tagging times, your outside interests, your general excitement, etc. While you may want to include a few lines about your character, we highly encourage you to keep any relevant secrets they have under wraps if you don't want them to be discovered. Hey, I'm Doom (she/her, TheDoomkitten), bringing in Yasu from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni or When the Seagulls Cry. Yasu's a shy, clumsy young girl with nonetheless a strong sense of duty and a passion for mystery novels... and was also forced to work as a part-time maidservant in an isolated island mansion when she was just six years old because a rich family owns the orphanage that she was raised in. Whoops.

I'll be pretty active all day in Week 1, but the semester starts during Week 2 so I'll be more active in the afternoons/evenings. Notably, I'll be spotty with tags in the early parts of the trial thanks to running a tabletop game online during that period—great scheduling, I know—but I'll do my best to stay on top of things regardless, especially since Yasu is pretty likely to try and play detective thanks to her hobbies.

She knows a lot about traveling Europe and worshipping God through implausible shows of supernatural ability, but much less about school and shopping. Hello, everybody! This is Leah (she/her); you may know me from other murdergames, including playing Lena in the first round of this one, but 2day I am bringing you... actually this isn't a departure from type at all, is it, this is pretty much exactly what you'd expect. "This" is Thomasin from the bleakly-lit, 1630s-set horror movie The Witch, a cautionary tale about moving to New Hampshire. She's a sad teenage Puritan who's recently been going through it, and is doubtless going to continue going through it here! While I highly recommend The Witch, it's also a horror movie with a bunch of upsetting content, and when I get this godforsaken permissions post up I'll have a more thorough rundown so people can opt out at their discretion; expect that later tonight or tomorrow, though, because my brain is mush right now. Hey there! This is Nyanka, nyanka, I've been around murdergaming for a while now, and I'm coming in with yet another obscurish character!



In case you're wondering, Hunter from 101 Dalmatian Street is in fact related to that Cruella DeVil. Her grandnephew, actually. Rich kid, keeps up with the latest tech and fashion trends, willing to catch a certain family of pups for his great aunt... He actually got real close to succeeding on that last thing until it backfired! Long story, but it would explain why his hair's currently like the picture there and why he sometimes slips into acting like a dog.

Thus, he has been dubbed the Dog Boy and sorted into room 8. Oh, and he happens to have some history with Dylan. So that will be interesting.

This time I bring you Dylan Dalmatian, one of the main characters of 101 Dalmatian Street. As one of the oldest pups in his family, he's pretty much the main reason the house hasn't been reduced to a pile of rubble-or washed away from flooding. Because the latter is something he has actually had to worry about, expect him to be a little paranoid about...literally everything, including the fact that so many humans suddenly understand him. Prepare for a paranoid pup proclaiming he's best fit for leading these kids.

Hello friends! I'm Anna (hakurei) and I'm back on my usual bullshit. In R1 I played Ib (rowboats) for a hot minute before rl kicked my ass but I am here with someone different to toss into the grinder this round.

This is Koishi Komeiji from Touhou Project! In short, she's a satori, a mind-reading youkai, who sealed up her mind-reading powers because of the stigma that satori get, and it....backfired kind of horribly. The mind-reading stuff went away, but she got a whole new set of powers and also kind of became a psychic black hole. What this means is that Koishi is hard to remember. Literally. In canon, people forget she ever existed when she leaves their field of view, but here that can manifest in the form of there being not enough desks or supplies for her, the robots ignoring her, skipping her over in a crowd of people, or forgetting her name or things she's said 0u0 feel free to play around with this if you'd like

She's a personable and chatty lady and she's eager to make f r i e n d s. Also she has a giant eye and fleshy tendrils around her, as a visual reference.

Hello all! Andrusi with a triangle here. At this point I believe most of you have murdergamed with me before, but for the exceptions, you can find me at Andrusi and you should always take everything I say completely at face value because there is never pain hidden in my phrasing.

This time out I'm bringing you Reika Aoki from Smile Precure! (or Chloe from Glitter Force if you want to make people mad). As a high INT low WIS blue Precure with sword and bow skills and well-concealed psychological issues based around her usefulness to others whose understanding of basic modern concepts is scattershot at best and who is voiced by Chinami Nishimura, she is basically ▲ndrusi's Greatest Murdergame Hits, although the thing about her being literally Dark Dream reincarnated is a meme and is not actually canon. Here, she's going to be known as The Pathfinder and hanging out in room 10, where she mercifully does not yet have access to her weird cardigan thing and will be forced to wear normal people clothes.

Also he's got a cocky streak a mile wide and a very slight chip on his shoulder towards authority figures like the Principal, so he's absolutely going to be Team Let's Try And Break Out Of This Place Somehow. He's in room #7, and yes, he's taking off the school uniform when he has the chance. He's not a nerd guys, come on.

He's a goof of a teen who loves to meme, into fashion and celebrities, and doesn't like to think too hard about things! Aaaallllso, he's coming here straight from a totally different game of doom and despair that is NEO's terrible team-based iteration of the Reaper's Game, but hey, no need to sweat it! He's a know-it-all who accordingly carries the braincell of his little group in canon and, given he has a tendency to look down on idiots because of it, has been given the very fitting title of The Callous Isolator.

As a note, Alive: The Final Evolution is in fact about a world ravaged by a suicide virus, so the topic of suicide (as well as child and animal murder/death) does come up at times. If you need to opt out of any of that, please let me know here!

Hello everyone! Gray here, taking a break from playing Pokemon OCs to bring an obscure book character instead! Emma is from SIX by M.M. Vaughan, a book that is almost excellent but fumbles its dismount at the very end.

Anyways, Emma is ten years old and very much a young activist-type, although she's mostly the type to get mad at rich adults and CEOs who perpetuate the overall unfair systems. This won't even be her first time getting kidnapped!

Emma is deaf, but can read lips, and the translation effect will work on her sign language. I do want to be semi-realistic, though, so if your character is nonhuman she might not be able to lip-read them as well at first. Let me know how you want to handle it precisely! She can also do her best to teach people.

Okay yeah gave up on finding a decent gif. Carrie... this kid... this kid who'd insist she is no such thing, she is a descendant of Sypha Belnades* with a duty to protect the innocent and will be taken seriously... is from Castlevania 64, best known now for its janky camera and being both "the one with the motorcycle skeletons even though it's 1852" and the first time Dracula showed up in one of these games looking like a harmless kid with a fancy coat.

Anyway, she's a little lilac-haired ball of vengeance and protective instincts, who woke up in Room #9. I welcome fourthwalling and I'll get a - wait, she's at best ambivalent towards any god, I actually don't need an opt-out post for Church Stuff this time, sweet! ☆
